Short Hair, Don’t Care

April 7, 2016

Now that my daughter is one year old and transitioning into the toddler phase, there seems to be some kind of an awkward stage when it comes to her hair. It’s kinda cute actually haha but I still need to address it considering the summer’s heat! 🙂

Babies naturally have very thin hair (some would even be bald until a certain age), but like all of us, their hair texture will differ from one another. My daughter has relatively fine hair texture, which she got from her dad, and sometimes it could be a challenge to fix. Because her hair is too fine, straight, and soft, I need accessories that will hold her hair up without hurting her. I don’t like accessories made of steel or silver than can rust, sharp plastic, and especially those with teeth or rough edges. Safety and comfort before style is my number one rule when it comes to my baby.

I am so glad I found hair accessories that are cute and stylish while being safe and comfortable for babies through Style Me Little formerly known as Celestina & Co. I discovered Style Me Little in one of the Spectrum Bazaars I’ve attended way back and I’ve been a fan of their products since then. I particularly love the classic bow tie designs of their hair clips. They are soft without rough edges and the colours are too cute!

Let me show you how I hoard items  🙂

Aside from the classic designs which I really love, they also have more quirky designs that are super adorable! How creative and unique are these designs? 🙂 I got the cupcake designed clip in the bazaar I mentioned but I think that design is already sold out.

Style Me Little’s hair accessories are relatively affordable (I saw some cheaper versions at SM Department Store) and are of good handmade quality. I also like how these can be used for a long period of time. I can imagine my daughter using them until she’s about five years old with longer and thicker hair.

So don’t let your children’s hair irritate their skin especially this summer. Use cute and fun accessories that will give them comfort while still looking cutiepatootie! 🙂

Have an awesome week ahead! 🙂
